HOW EVIDENCE COMMAND WORKS

Getting high-quality medical evidence for your VA claim should be simple. We make the process easy from start to finish.

2. COMPLETE YOUR INTAKE

Answer a few questions and upload your relevant records through our secure system. We organize the information your provider needs to review your case efficiently.

3. GET YOUR MEDICAL EVIDENCE

Your licensed provider completes the appropriate evaluation or records review. When clinically supported, your medical evidence is securely delivered within 7 days or less—or it’s FREE.

WHY VETERANS CHOOSE EVIDENCE COMMAND

Better medical evidence. Faster. For less.

Evidence Command was built to give Veterans a simpler, faster, and more affordable way to get high-quality medical evidence for a VA disability claim or appeal.

We connect Veterans with experienced, licensed medical providers who understand VA-focused evaluations and documentation—without the high prices, long delays, or limited provider coverage common elsewhere.

  • Nationwide Provider Coverage

  • Mental Health Evaluations, DBQs, Nexus Letters, and More

  • Secure Telehealth & Simple Online Intake

KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED BEFORE YOU PAY FOR IT.

For physical and medical conditions, every case starts with a Medical Evidence Gap Analysis.

A licensed healthcare provider reviews the records you submit, identifies potential gaps, and recommends what additional medical evidence—if any—may be appropriate.

If you don’t need a DBQ, Nexus Letter, or additional medical evidence, you should know that before spending more money.

No guessing. No unnecessary purchases. Just the right next step for your claim.

*Mental health evaluations do not require a Medical Evidence Gap Analysis.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Evidence Command do?

Evidence Command connects veterans with licensed medical professionals for Mental Health Evaluations, Independent Medical Opinions, DBQs, and Nexus Letters for VA disability claims and appeals.

How do I know which service I need?

➡️ For PTSD, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, mood disorders, chronic pain syndrome, or another mental health condition, a Medical Evidence Gap Analysis is not required. Start directly with a Mental Health Evaluation.

➡️ For physical or medical conditions, start with a Medical Evidence Gap Analysis. A licensed provider reviews your records, identifies potential evidence gaps, and recommends the right next step. After the review, you can choose to move forward with a DBQ, Nexus Letter, both, or another recommended service—only if additional medical evidence is appropriate. The goal is simple: know exactly what you need before you spend more money.

How does the process work?

Choose your service, complete a secure intake, upload your relevant records, and meet virtually with a licensed medical provider. Mental health evaluations require you to meet with a provider over HIPAA compliant video telehealth technology. DBQs and/or Nexus Letters for non-mental health conditions generally do not require a separate appointment with a licensed healthcare provider. Your completed documentation will then be delivered securely when clinically supported.

Are appointments completed online?

Yes. Appointments are completed through secure telehealth, allowing you to meet with your provider from home. You will be matched with a medical professional appropriately licensed or authorized to evaluate you.

What records do I need to provide?

Upload any relevant records available, including VA rating decisions, service treatment records, VA or private medical records, previous DBQs, C&P examination reports, diagnostic testing, and supporting statements.

How quickly will I receive my medical evidence?

Completed documentation is delivered securely within seven days following your completed appointment, provided all required records and information have been received.

What is the difference between a DBQ and a Nexus Letter?

A DBQ documents your diagnosis, symptoms, severity, and functional impairment.

A Nexus Letter provides a medical opinion explaining whether your condition is connected to military service or another service-connected disability.

Some high-value claims like Sleep Apnea or Migraines (Headaches), among others, may benefit from both.

How does the 7-Day guarantee work?

Once your appointment is completed and all required records have been received, your documentation will be delivered within seven days—or the service is free.

The guarantee does not apply to delays caused by missing information, missed appointments, additional testing, or circumstances outside the provider’s reasonable control.

Do you guarantee favorable medical evidence or VA approval?

No. Providers must exercise independent professional judgment, and medical opinions are only issued when clinically supported. Evidence Command cannot guarantee a favorable medical opinion, VA disability rating, or claim decision. The VA makes the final determination.
